It's stereotypical to believe women share automatically how they are feeling. Actually, women will hold in their feelings until they are asked often enough that they spill what is on their minds.
3. Try to Change Their Men
Women often understand men but don't agree with the way they are. Women try to change them to suit their needs or leave them alone completely.

Women, sometimes unknowingly, compare their current mate to their ex in terms of negative aspects. Comparisons should be made when it's favorable.

8. Interruption

Comedy And Creativity

Comedy And Creativity By Mark Fox

When you hear a joke that's funny, did you ever wonder why it was funny? You probably laughed because the punch line was unexpected. The climax was unusual, and did not follow a normal train of thought. Because the punch line was not what you were anticipating, the joke got your attention. There are a lot of similarities between comedy and business creativity. Both involve things that are unexpected from the consumer's point of view.
Think about good advertising or marketing. These campaigns work best when they include an element that grabs your attention because it was not expected. Now let's look at the anatomy of a joke. A comedian usually begins by telling a story.
"I got this one DUI, which was a bogus charge because it turns out they were stopping every vehicle ..." The comedian tells the pieces and parts of a story that travel along a predictable path. They're trying to build a pattern in your mind as they build momentum for the story. Now, based on this pattern, there's going to be an anticipated result.
What a good comedian does, especially when they're telling a funny joke, is redirect you to left field before they get to the anticipated result. The punch line will be completely different from what was expected. That's what makes the joke funny.
"I got this one DUI, which was a bogus charge because it turns out they were stopping every vehicle traveling down that particular sidewalk. That's profiling and profiling is wrong!" Ron White, Blue Collar Comedy Tour
The next time you hear a not-so-funny joke, stop and ask yourself if the punch line was pretty close to what you were anticipating. If the punch line was expected, the joke probably wasn't very funny.
The same is true for your business; you need to surprise your customers with something that is unexpected and if you want positive results you better make damn sure that unexpected event is pleasurable.

Seven Tips To Telling Better Jokes (From a Comedian Who Really Knows!)

Seven Tips To Telling Better Jokes (From a Comedian Who Really Knows!) By Brad Montgomery

To be honest, I think that most presenters should avoid telling jokes. But on the other hand, telling jokes around the water cooler or on the porch while sippin' lemonade is a time-honored tradition. If it was good enough for Gramps, why ain't it good enough for us? But if you are going to tell jokes, you should do it right.
1. Make sure you actually know the joke. Practice it! Tell it to your kids, your spouse, and your dog. Trust me, you want to tell the joke a few times before you do it for real. Nothing will make you look like a bigger idiot than telling a joke wrong.
2. Scan the internet for jokes to AVOID. Don't tell jokes that everybody has heard... if your joke is all over the internet, then this is a great joke to AVOID.
3. Shorter jokes are better. I know, I know. You think you're a great story teller. But trust me, your audience will appreciate you for NOT adding all of the colorful details and fluff. Just tell the joke. Shorten it if you can.
4. The punch line comes last. And I mean last! Nothing should come after the punch-line. Consider this joke done well. Why Did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side.
Now, the same joke when the punch-line is not last.
This is much worse. (I know, that joke is pretty bad on it's own, but... you get the idea.)
Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side of the road which was on a long block because he wanted to get to his chicken coop.
See? Punch-lines should be last. Period. NOTHING comes after the punch. (Except for your silence and their laughter.)
5. Keep it clean. And I mean crystal clean. If you wouldn't
tell it to the Queen of England (who probably doesn't like jokes much anyway) then leave it out. Seriously. If you have any doubt whether you are "crossing the line," then don't tell it. Think of it this way: if you tell a joke to 10 people and 9 of them laugh, then you've still alienated a friend. Don't do it.
6. If you are telling a joke as part of a presentation, don't take credit for the joke. You can do that before the joke with something like, "Here's one I read on the internet." Or after the joke with something like, "That old joke was on the internet, but it reminds us to.... (follow with a point.)" If you don't let people know that his joke is from the internet, you risk looking like a fool. I guarantee that at least a couple of people in every
audience already know your joke, and if you want to earn
and keep THEIR respect you need to make sure you don't (tacitly) claim that joke to be yours.
7. Don't steal jokes from stand up comics. Unless they are
dead. Jokes are material, and it is how they earn a living.
If you tell it, copy it, email it.... whatever... you devalue the
joke for them. Besides, it's bad karma. :)

Methods to Stop Smoking

Methods to Stop Smoking by Ted White

Methods to stop smoking seem to grow on trees these days. With more and more smokers becoming conscious of the negative impact, smoking is having on their lives; there has been a rise in attempts to help these people kick the habit for good. Some are "natural", involving the use of herbal remedies; others are chemicals developed by major pharmaceutical companies. Still more are entirely drug free, relying on will power and community support to tame the beast of nicotine addiction. No matter which method one chooses, there are those that pass with excellence, and those that fall from grace, and must try, try again.
While on the subject of the will power methods to stop smoking, let us talk a little more about just what those are. A broad term for many methods is "quitting cold turkey". Those who choose to quit this way simply put down their cigarette and lighter and never touch them again all their live long days…in theory at least. Aids to this sort of method are audio tapes or CD's that can be listened to either awake or asleep. Books, magazines, and other forms of educational material are also helpful when trying to bolster your will power. Lastly, exercise, a good diet, and some group therapy can go a long way toward making this method to stop smoking all that much more effective.
There are a few prescription drugs out there to assist a smoker in quitting. There are also over the counter drugs and herbal remedies available that will profess just as effective as their competitors are. Talk with your doctor before taking anything you are unfamiliar with, some drugs may have unsafe interactions with your current medications. Chantix and Zyban are two of the most well known stop-smoking drugs on the market today. They profess to help stop or at least lessen cravings as a way to help a smoker quit. Herbal products can vary widely based on the manufacturer, and their specific target goal. Some aim to restore key minerals to the body while the smoker is rewiring their brain and body. Others are patches and pills that contain herbs to flush the nicotine from a smoker's bloodstream that much faster, making recovery more likely. These are known as chemical assisted methods of stopping smoking.
There is almost too much educational material available to a smoker about methods of stopping smoking. Between printed materials like books, brochures and magazines to the vastness of the internet, it is hard to keep up with what is fact and what is some crackpot's idea of a good joke at your expense. This is especially true when it comes to the internet. A simple web search can reveal millions of hits leading to sites that claim to have some or all of the answers. Take these claims with a few grains of salt and decide for yourself, which are best for you. It is your body, your mind, and most importantly, it is your life. Take care of it!

Learn How to Tell Jokes, Part 1 of 2 - Your First Joke

Learn How to Tell Jokes, Part 1 of 2 - Your First Joke By CD Mohatta

Heard any good jokes lately? I sometimes ask people this, and do you know how they often answer? "Oh, I can never remember jokes!"
That used to be me. I used to never remember a joke. In fact, you could tell me the same joke over and over and I’d never remember the punch line until you got there. At least I got more than one laugh out of it.
But I felt a little left out. I wanted to tell jokes, too. Jokes are a way of making a person smile. It’s a way of sharing with each other. If you tell a joke well, they’ll remember you with a smile.
I assure you, you can remember jokes. If you can remember a story, you can remember a joke. And you do remember some stories, don’t you? Do you remember Hansel and Gretel, or Pinocchio, or The Three Musketeers, or Star Wars? If you remember any stories you can remember a joke, for a joke is just a short story with a funny end.
And just like with a story, you don’t need to remember the joke exactly in order to retell it. Here is a secret: usually good joke-tellers are changing small details of the joke -- either to make it better -- or because they don’t remember it exactly how it was told to them.
So here is what you can do to learn how to tell jokes. Begin with short jokes:
Patient: "Doctor, I have a terrible problem! I can’t seem to remember things I have just said."
Doctor: "When did you first notice the problem?"
Patient: "What problem?
Now immediately look away or close your eyes and retell the joke out loud to no one. Then, all you have to do is call a friend and tell the joke. Try to do it soon. Tell the same joke this afternoon or tomorrow to someone else. Keep telling it. You remember it better with each retelling. You might even change it a little and make it better.
